Tomsystem is the ideal tomato securing system for both short and long growing cycles. With five different staple closing strengths, it is suitable for all varieties and weights of crop, from cherry tomatoes to beefsteak tomatoes, vine tomatoes, round tomatoes, etc.
Stem breakage when twisting is very common but TomSystem avoids this problem completely while at the same time achieving a high clipping speed.
Tomsystem adapts perfectly to both traditional and Dutch systems, avoiding the stress caused by twisting, and allowing the continuous stem growth. Usually a staple is fitted every 3-5 days, depending on variety and time of year.
Tomsystem can also be used to clip aubergine crops, avoiding the stress caused by twisting which can be important during periods of low growth.
Tomsystem allows cucumber plants to be perfectly bound as long as they are supported using the Dutch system with vertical twine, as this gives the best production and crop quality. However, it is not compatible with the system in Almeria, which uses horizontal twine.
